Urological Sketches by Dr. Vardi published in THE NEW YORKER

Urological sketches given a humorous twist

The New Yorker is an American weekly magazine that has been publishing reportages, reviews, essays, comics, poetry, and fiction since 1925.

Although its reviews and agenda focus on the cultural life of New York City, The New Yorker has a wide readership beyond the city, thanks to the quality of writing of its journalists. Its cartoons, famous caricatures, and short stories have helped give these genres greater literary recognition in the United States.

I had the pleasure of seeing some of my urological sketches — drawn during consultations with the aim of explaining certain conditions or procedures — given humorous captions by the magazine’s cartoonists.

The urological sketches were published in July 2018. Find the article here.
